ERO S.r.l., a manufacturer of adhesive application and quality assurance systems, is seeking a qualified Technical Sales Representative to support the continued growth of the company.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Technical Sales Representative manages existing accounts, develops new business, and provides technical support for the ERO product line worldwide. This role will focus on international sales and thus will entail traveling internationally on a frequent basis to call on customers and provide technical support.
When not travelling, the Technical Sales Representative will work in the office at the ERO S.r.l. headquarters in Montirone, Brescia.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Promote the ERO product line across all industries with the assistance of ERO and Valco Melton's corporate resources.
* Prospect and research for new customers and promote company’s products and solutions.
* Steward and build relationships with existing clients to promote upgrades and new solutions.
* Market research and planning of a sales strategy and activities.
* Business development with contacts in the industry.
* Attend trade show events when relevant.
* Effectively communicate, present and demonstrate the product solutions of the company.
* Provide competent technical and installation support when required.
* Work closely with Engineering, Customer Service, and Technical Service to provide customers with excellent support at all levels.
* Effectively interact and sell at all levels of a corporation from the CEO/President to the maintenance shop.
* Strive to consistently meet or exceed quota.
Required Experience:
* Possess a strong technical sales ability or background.
* Technical studies (electrical/mechanical) and/or 3-5 years’ industry experience.
* General aptitude for technical skills (electrical/mechanical).
* Experience selling to manufacturing companies.
* Ability to work at a high level without daily supervision.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Computer software and iOS devices.
