Your key responsibilities will include: /p ul liManaging trading activities on Day-Ahead and Intraday power markets, with a specific focus on the Italian market. /li liTaking responsibility of development, deployment, maintenance of automated trading algorithms in the context of the power exchange and marketing of physical assets /li liConducting in-depth analysis of key market drivers to identify opportunities and risks. /li liCollaborating with other IT and data science teams working on forecasting and related short-term models for trading the E.ON customer portfolio /li liAligning with other teams across different countries to understand, challenge, refine and suggest new approaches for trading logics for physical assets. /li liEnsuring comprehensive documentation of all implemented logics, models, and operational processes. /li /ul h3Your Background That Convinces /h3 pWe're looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with a robust background in short-term power trading. Your qualifications should include: /p ul liA university degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, finance, or a comparable discipline. /li liMinimum of 3 years' experience in intraday power trading roles. /li liOperational knowledge of European electricity markets, with a strong focus on the Italian market and dispatching dynamics. /li liA strong analytical and structured way of thinking, combined with excellent organizational skills. /li liEnjoy working both independently and within a highly motivated team, coupled with a results-oriented mindset. /li liExcellent communication skills, assertiveness, and a strong sense of engagement. /li liA proactive approach to learning and personal development. /li liStrong proficiency in Excel, VBA, Python and/or Matlab, SQL. /li liFluent in written and spoken Italian and English /li /ul h3Diversity and Inclusion /h3 pAt E.ON diversity matters.
