We are looking for an Avionic System Engineer for our Aerospace & Aviation division, as part of a project developing avionics for a sixth-generation military fighter jet. Following a Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) approach, the resource will be responsible for designing and drafting requirements for complex avionic systems and subsystems, in compliance with guidelines and processes defined by the team.
The candidate will also be involved in high-level requirements analysis, drafting the Design Concept Paper, and developing the SysML model. They will collaborate on defining derived requirements, participate in internal and external reviews, and take part in tri-national technical meetings with Italy, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
Main Responsibilities
Analysis of high-level input requirements
Drafting the Design Concept Paper (DCP)
Support for technical review activities
Development of the SysML model and definition of derived requirements
Participation in tri-national review events
Essential Technical Skills
Deep knowledge of aircraft systems, particularly military
Knowledge of aircraft support systems
Excellent written and spoken English
Familiarity with configuration management, versioning, and requirements development workflows
Preferred Technical Skills
Knowledge of Cameo and DOORS tools
Good command of SysML
Basic knowledge of safety and security applied to aircraft
