Roles and responsibilities:
* Prepare technological documentation, work instructions, and manuals to support assembly processes.
* Design and lead the execution of the sequence of operations for assembly processes, making decisions based on available design data and other relevant information.
* Collaborate proactively with colleagues across GE Aerospace to gather decision-relevant supporting materials.
* Solve technical problems, analyze data, and implement temporary and permanent countermeasures, recording lessons learned and sharing them with the team.
* Improve assembly processes from cost, lead time, and inventory perspectives, while embracing lean tools.
* Provide direct oversight and operational support during testing activities and actively participate in operational reviews and control centers.
* Support the development of new engines and implement changes and LEAN activities.
* Explain technical information to others in a clear and professional manner.
Required Qualifications:
* Demonstrated knowledge in turboprop and/or turboshaft aircraft engine design and manufacturing.
* Documented expertise in aircraft engine assembly.
* Proficiency in Czech and English at a communicative level.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings.
* At least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a high school diploma with relevant work experience.
