Write the next chapter of your ABB story.: This position reports to: Global Product Manager Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division located in Vittuone (MI) with a focus on Business line Energy Distribution, in particular DIN Rail protections devices. Main stakeholders are global markets and internal functions such as Sales, R&D, SCM etc. You will be mainly accountable for: - Managing line protection devices from both a technical and a business perspective, establishing an international network, and representing the voice of the customer within our organization. - Performing in-depth market analysis (trends, competition, standardization) and identifying customer requirements, value proposition, and unlocking new opportunities for ABB. - Translating customer needs into technical requirements and taking the lead within the product development or cost streamlining process. - Taking the full responsibility for the profitability of the product ranges managed and of their development in the future. - Initiating and driving go to market strategy, such as launch planning and product implementation in conjunction with global sales and marketing. - Managing the full Life cycle of respective product portfolio. Qualifications for the role: - You are highly skilled in proven ability to meet deadlines and get results with many priorities and under tight timeframes. - Ability to demonstrate your experience in Product Management or Product Marketing are preferred -at least 2 years. - You are captivated by leadership through influence, problem solving, team-working, communication, result orientation complete the profile. - Degree in Electrical-, Mechanical-, Mechatronics engineering or relevant discipline. - You are at ease communicating in English fluently is a must, both written and spoken.
