_Job Activities:_
- Involved in all actions/tasks related to functional safety according to ISO 26262 process through the complete lifecycle of the vehicle, organizing and controlling functional safety for Electric and SW products.
- Involved in the development of the item definition, 'hazard analysis and risk assessment', and functional safety concept.
- Drive activities to establish functional safety requirements for system components and ECU software and hardware work products.
- Support system and sub-system design with respect to System FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis.
- Work with Tier-1 suppliers to assure component-level adherence and traceability to the functional safety concept.
- Develop test cases for vehicle and system evaluation for bench and HIL testing.
- Coordinate cross-functional system reviews to identify and resolve unpredicted issues.
- Establish and align ASIL classifications for each system, sub-system, and component.
- Preferential position requirements:_
- Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer or technical equivalent, Functional Safety Manager certification issued by relevant organization (e.g. TUV Automotive Functional Safety Professional).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Automotive Field and 2 years experience as a Functional Safety Engineer Expert.
- Experience in working with safety standards like ISO 26262.
- Experience in defending Safety Analysis (FMEA, FTA, DFA, etc.) at the system and software level and performing Confirmation reviews.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and people engagement skills to make safety concepts easy to understand by non-safety experts.
