We share ideas and collaborate so that together, we can develop solutions that deliver enjoyable and sustainable living. /p h3Product Line /h3 pPermanent /p h3About the role /h3 pFor our Business area sector, we are looking for a driven and engaged new team member in our Product Line team as Category Manager Innovation to create business value growth by successfully driving the Category Innovation Triangle (RD/Marketing/Design) and the creation of a strong Generation Plan that delivers on the overall category business objectives. /p pThe main aim for this role is to develop the strategic innovation roadmap for the category and to lead the development and launch of new products incorporating outstanding consumer experiences that deliver on the overall category business objectives. /p pYou will have a wide exposure within the Product Line and Commercial area organization with many cross‑functional contacts centrally as well as local Product Line and Sales contacts in the clusters. /p h3Location /h3 pThe role can be based either in Italy - Porcia (PN) or in Sweden (Stockholm HQ). /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liDrive New Product Development within the Innovation Triangle together with RD, Marketing and Design based on the category's innovation territories /li liDefine learning plan in alignment with the Consumer Experience team /li liDevelop and own the product category Strategic Plan as part of the overall Product Line Strategic Plan in close cooperation with Category Director and Category Manager /li liGive input to the Technology Roadmap to ensure RD investments/resources in business sector and globally are based on consumer insight driven innovation /li liDefine Generation Plan based on consumer insights, business needs, market development, and brand attributes /li liIncorporate insights from consumer ratings in all development projects /li liBuild and execute the Integrated Product Planning (IPP) for the category (market sizing approval, trends, sweet pot definition, etc.) /li liDrive the definition of new innovations value for value-based pricing /li liMonitor market and industry trends, long term areas of interest and technology developments /li liDefine range architecture in close cooperation with Category Managers Commercial and link ranging deliverables/needs/requests to product development projects /li /ul h3Who you are /h3 ul liAcademic degree in business and/or technical field /li liSolid and relevant experience in product development or product marketing with international exposure /li liExperience in manufacturing companies (home appliances, consumer electronics, automotive etc.) is considered as a strong plus /li liProject management skills, able to plan and focus on strategic priorities /li liStrong analytical skills and ability to see the big picture /li liProven track record of displaying strong business understanding and you are able to evaluate risks/opportunities making skilled business decisions /li liExceptional collaboration skills, proven ability to form strong cross‑functional relationships with varying business partners /li liGreat communication skills and you have the ability to convince, influence and motivate others in a complex matrix organization /li liFluent in English, both spoken and written. /li /ul pAs part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
