IQM Selezione, recruiting company operating in Italy, is seeking an experienced:
Technical Sales Manager - Polymers and Additives to join one of Japan’s largest trading
Key Responsibilities:
The chosen candidate will autonomously perform the following activities:
* Reach country sales and profit margin targets;
* Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close sales;
* Successfully manage and optimize current business accounts.
* Define, develop, build and successfully manage new business accounts.
* Correspond with suppliers and buyers and respond to inquiries.
* Identify and successfully deliver new business opportunities.
* Represent the company at meetings and exhibitions.
* Report monthly sales execution to the management;
* Report on market trends in the country.
Ideal profile:
* Technical education and deep commercial understanding;
* Preferably degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Sciences or other similar degrees;
* 3/5-years experience in international companies within the chemical industry, operating in production and distribution of polymers throughout Italy;
* Good technical knowledge of the chemical industry, materials and tools; Knowledge of Polymers such as Engineering plastics, high performance materials, thermoplastic elastomer for different applications such as compounding, automotive, medical, etc.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point);
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in other European languages is a plus
* Availability and strong interest to travel nationally and internationally (about 50% of the time).
Availability: ASAP
Workplace: Milan, with availability to travel. Company car in pooling.
Compensation and benefits: Full time employment contract; .Gross salary will be related to the effective experience of the candidate.
