As a Sales Manager at Smiths Interconnect, your primary responsibility will be managing accounts within Italy and other EU countries. /ppYou will leverage your technical expertise, commercial skills, and existing industry knowledge to maintain and expand our customer base. Your goal is to increase overall sales revenue and profit year‑on‑year, both from existing clients and by targeting new business opportunities. /ppIf you are a dynamic Sales Manager ready to take on a new challenge, work in a flexible environment, and contribute to our strategic growth plans, we encourage you to apply. /ppbDuties Responsibilities (not limited to): /b /pulliCollaborating closely with customers and distributors to identify opportunities and develop new product designs. /liliManaging and maintaining your opportunities in the CRM with company guideline. /liliEnsuring our value proposition aligns with the needs of existing customers and qualifying new requests for quotations. /liliDeveloping new accounts by identifying programs, projects, competitive potentials, and value propositions. /liliIdentifying and enhancing the company's competitive advantage through product value propositions. /liliTaking ownership of the booking plan of your accounts to give insights to the organisation. /liliTaking ownership of client issues and ensuring a positive brand reputation. /liliWorking cross‑functionally to drive business and contribute actively to product development. /liliDriving growth within market segments and applications by analysing industry data. /liliMaximising price and margin for our products. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliA bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering and/or Business. /liliTechnical and commercial knowledge of connectors and/or cable assemblies. /liliPrevious experience in selling solutions within the Defence and/or Medical industries is a major advantage. /liliAbility to travel domestically and potentially internationally, along with a valid passport. /liliFlexibility in working arrangements, including remote work, subject to agreement. /liliDemonstrated and successful sales experience in a related role, market and/or products. /liliTechnical knowledge of connectors or cable assemblies is highly desirable. /liliThe ability to qualify requests for quotations, investigate customers' buying motives, and map decision makers and influencers. /liliExperience in building compelling Value Propositions based on the qualification process. /liliExperience in negotiating terms and conditions. /liliProficiency in using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. /liliSuccessful experience with high-value product selling, pricing, negotiating, and channel management. /liliFluent in Italian and English, with a good command of Spanish or French being highly appreciated. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3pWith colleagues stretching across the globe, we are proud of our diversity.
