PpEpsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Manager in Naples, Italy. /p pJob Summary: The Project Manager at U.S. Naval Support Activity Naples is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, coordinating, directing, and controlling projects, developing customer relationships for continued business, and seeking new business opportunities. The Project manager will oversee contract execution and track progress towards meeting financial, schedule, technical, and performance objectives for assigned projects. /p h3Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liThis position will be based primarily in Naples, Italy with frequent travel to Rota, Spain and Bahrain. /li liDirects and regularly evaluates performance of assigned program tasks in terms of quality, cost control, and achievement of technical, schedule, performance and contractual objective to ensure work results meets customer requirements. /li liEnsures all contract deliverables are of high quality and delivered on time. /li liServes as primary point of contact for information to and from the customer. /li liServes as technical point of contact for Epsilon’s subcontractors. /li liManages personnel including hiring, training, performance reviews and related personnel management functions for junior project managers and direct report employees. /li liPlans, directs, and monitors assigned project budgets including the review and approval of all associated invoices. /li liStrives to increase business opportunities. /li liUnderstands and develops business proposals, financial performance reports, contract required reports and documents. /li liImplements and executes program information management systems and controls to carry out program tasks. /li liDetermines work schedules, prioritizes tasks, and implements procedures for performing work activities. /li liSets-up, coordinates, and prepares materials for meetings and reviews, to include program management reviews, contract status reviews, technical reviews, lifecycle management reviews. /li liMakes presentations for meetings and reviews. /li liKeeps upper management informed regarding assigned projects’ status and any technical, cost, schedule, or administrative problems within assigned programs. /li liProvides recommendations on process changes. /li liDrives to various bases for interviews and employee requirements. /li liProject Manager will be responsible for supplying contract deliverables to meet customer requirements. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in STEM, business, or other related fields. /li liMinimum of 15 years of government and/or commercial leadership experience within DoD/USN business/contracting domain. /li liMinimum 5 years of project management experience. /li liPursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens. /li liFamiliarity with US Navy, to include System and Type Commanders, Regional Maintenance Centers, Naval Warfare Centers. /li liProficient in use of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project and other project management tools and software. /li liKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. /li liKnowledgeable in program management principles and demonstrated program management capabilities. /li liEffective oral, written, communication, and presentation skills. /li liStrong customer focus and effective inter-personal skills. /li liStrong organizational and leadership skills. /li liPossess a valid U.S. Passport. /li liProfessional and mature demeanor in all conduct with all levels of employees. /li liStrong time management skills, prioritization, and follow through. /liliStrong analytical and critical thinking skills. /li liAbility to motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job. /li liAbility to work with all levels of employees with professionalism and tact. /li liAbility to handle multiple tasks. /li liAbility to maintain strict confidentiality. /li liAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. /li liTravel may be required up to 10‑20%. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liCurrent Project Management Institute awarded certification in one of the following areas: Project Management Professional, Portfolio Management Professional, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, or Program Management Professional desired but not required. /li liActive Duty and Government Service US Navy experience in NAVSEA/Regional Maintenance Center/Shipyard domains is a plus. /li /ul h3ADA Notations /h3 ul liFrequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk and may occasionally lift and move 25 pounds. /li liAbility to travel by car, air or other means of transportation. /li liAbility to climb aboard ships and military vessels, if required. /li liTypical office environment. /li /ul pEpsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
