As one of the world’s largest integrated pulp and paper companies, with over 100,000 employees worldwide, APP delivers quality products to more than 150 countries through world-class manufacturing and a robust international sales network.APP Group is seeking a Sales Manager – Brand Owners & Strategic Accounts to develop and grow long-term partnerships with brand owners in the food and consumer packaging sectors across Italy.We welcome candidates from commercial sales, customer development, or strategic procurement backgrounds who have deep experience in Paperboard or Packaging categories and strong exposure to supplier–customer negotiations.Your RoleDevelop and manage senior relationships with brand owners in food, beverage, and consumer packagingAct as the primary commercial interface for assigned strategic accountsLead commercial discussions and negotiations including pricing models, volume commitments, and long-term agreementsDrive account growth, portfolio expansion, and supply partnershipsTranslate brand owner priorities (cost, quality, sustainability, supply security) into commercial solutionsWork closely with HQ, technical, and sustainability teamsProvide market insights on paperboard, packaging, and commodity trendsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience5+ years of experience in paperboard, packaging, pulp & paper, or related industriesBackground in:Sales, customer development, or key account management ORStrategic procurement / category management with strong supplier-facing responsibilityProven involvement in contract negotiations, supplier management, or commercial decision-makingUnderstanding of cost drivers, pricing mechanisms, and volume-based contractsExperience managing or negotiating long-term supply agreementsAbility to influence stakeholders across procurement, operations, sustainability, and managementCommercial mindset with interest in revenue growth and customer developmentMarket KnowledgeFamiliarity with Italy food packaging market and requirements, quality standards, and sustainability topicsUnderstanding of how brand owners evaluate and select strategic suppliersLanguagesFluent Italian requiredStrong English required🌱 Why Join APP?Join a global leader committed to innovation, performance, and sustainability.
