The Direct eCommerce Manager is responsible for all Commercial operational tasks and Technical management tasks in the Direct eCom channels. The position is also involved in day to day operational management, monitoring and execution with regards to all of the Direct eCom Business channels (Own Webshop, App sales, Marketplaces, other)
Main responsibilities: Continuously drive optimization of the webshop/website across functions/teams to improve customer experience and performance (conversion, order value) by identifying optimizations and campaigns within the central framework. Daily monitoring of sales results to flag in case we are deviating and in alignment with central team define the needed actions. Ensuring continuous operational alignment with other (direct) sales channels. Monitoring and control of all Webshop/Website functions (including testing and roll-out of new features, technical updates, security measures, etc.). Align with Marketing to define and execute budget for digital campaigns. Together with central teams decide on the direction of the campaign and activation plan. Use web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze user behavior and derive optimization strategies and ensure compliance to local data protection laws.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or related field. 5 years of experience in ecommerce management and digital marketing. High business acumen & commercial, consumer-first and premium mindset. Excellent knowledge of ecommerce platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CMS, CRM, SAP Commerce Cloud). Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion optimization. Great project management, problem solver thinking and communication skills. Data-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and growth. High level of Italian and English.
