Your role will focus on developing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, identifying needs, and collaborating with engineering teams to create tailored solutions. You will work across industries such as manufacturing, water treatment, automotive, transportation, life sciences, chemicals, and energy, promoting our automation, control, and analysis software solutions. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and industry impact.Responsibilities include:Gaining knowledge of the Emerson Software portfolio through training and effectively communicating its value and ROI to customers.Acting as a trusted advisor to bring digital technologies that help clients grow and improve their businesses.Driving sales opportunities to closure to meet order and sales targets.Expanding target accounts and identifying new growth niches with entrepreneurial initiative.Planning accounts and executing tactical sales and marketing strategies.Providing feedback on market and customer needs to marketing, product management, engineering, and supply chain teams.Forecasting orders using Salesforce.com CRM.Planning and executing commercial and marketing activities.Who You Are:You are eager to join a team of experts, comfortable with technological challenges, curious about Emerson’s systems and solutions, and motivated to drive digital transformation in the industry.Requirements:Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in outside sales or small business leadership, preferably in industrial automation.Knowledge of HMI, Supervisory Control, and Plant Analytics software.Solid understanding of automation systems for building, infrastructure, manufacturing, or machine automation, including IIoT, HMI/SCADA, OEE, and cloud/EDGE technologies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian (native) and English.Willingness to travel domestically.Preferred Qualifications:Experience as an Application Engineer or Solution Architect.Sales experience in related industries such as mechatronics, robotics, information operations technology, industrial software, MES/MIS, cloud computing, or instrumentation.Our Culture Commitment:At Emerson, we value and empower our employees, fostering innovation, collaboration, and diversity.
