In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Define and execute strategies that drive long-term business growth and strengthen customer partnerships in close collaboration with business units. Lead, coach, and develop a diverse sales team to achieve and exceed annual bookings and growth targets while building future-ready capabilities. Enhance and transform sales processes, including the use of customer relationship management tools, digital solutions, and go-to-market strategies aligned with the Measurement Solutions value creation approach. Own planning and performance management processes, including forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing monitoring of bookings, gross profit, operating expenses, and headcount. Set clear goals and expectations, provide continuous feedback, and support development through structured performance and growth plans. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and represent Emerson in strategic commercial discussions. Collaborate across functions and business units to maximize growth opportunities, including strategic accounts and project pursuits. Contribute as an active member of the Italy leadership team, helping shape business strategy, talent development, and regional collaboration. Strengthen team capability through structured learning and development initiatives. Ensure effective governance, including delegation of authority and pricing processes. Foster an inclusive, accountable, and psychologically safe environment that encourages engagement, continuous improvement, and innovation. Ensure full compliance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and trade standards across all activities. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s Degree qualification in engineering, business management, or a related subject area. Demonstrated experience (minimum 10 years) leading sales teams, with a strong focus on developing people, fostering engagement, and delivering consistent performance. Proven ability to drive structured sales management practices, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance analysis. Experience working across industries such as energy, power, refining, life sciences, or chemicals, or similar complex environments. Capability to lead transformation efforts, including adoption of digital tools and new ways of working to improve productivity and customer outcomes. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop long-term, trust-based partnerships with customers. Experience collaborating within a matrix environment and aligning cross-functional teams to execute growth strategies. Ability to navigate change, prioritize effectively, and take ownership in a dynamic and evolving business environment. Fluency in Italian and English language (written and spoken); Openness to travel on national and international level as needed. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 126.800 to 235.400 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. For roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the applicable salary range and pay structure are set by that agreement, including how pay levels and progression are defined ( Contratto Commercio - Manageritalia ).
