Our client is the technology leader in the fields of compressor systems and compressor service as well as sealing elements for oscillating and rotating systems, grinding and classifying systems as well as expert for integrated solutions along the H2 value chain.
**Your new role**
- Territory Responsibility in Southern Europe and/or North Africa;
- Develop Sales Strategy for each customer;
- Provide Sales Forecast for the assigned sales territory;
- Facilitate Service Contracts and Master Service Agreements (MSA’s) with customers;
- Host Lunch and Learns for customers;
- Develop new customer relationships via networking and cold calls;
- Contact and meet with customers to define technical and commercial aspects of inquiries and proposals;
- Meet with customers for technical and commercial negotiations;
- Make presentations of sales activities and opportunities during periodic internal Sales Meetings;
- Work and Coordinate with the company Inside Sales staff, Service staff and Project Management staff to provide information for proposals and technical support;
- Follow internal process and work with CRM to initiate customer inquiries and orders;
- Be responsible for compressor data management in CRM in line with given guidelines;
- Review all Requests for Quote and related customer documents for clarity and resolve any specification issues as required;
- Follow up with customers on quotation status and maintain the status in CRM on regular basis;
- Provide necessary support to reduce Accounts Receivables when required.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Minimum 3-5 Years experience in Technical Sales position preferably at OEMs for compressors / rotating equipment;
- Good written and spoken English. Fair written and spoken French is a plus;
- Good presentation and communication skills, ability to adapt to different cultures, customers and colleagues;
- Initiative, pro-active and willing to travel inside South Europe and North Africa (at least 30-40% of the time);
- Must possess knowledge of customers’ businesses, their processes, and how our compressors are utilised within their business;
- Must pay close attention to details and be able to multi-task effectively;
- Must be Team Player with “Can Do” attitude to effectively solve problems / remove roadblocks to maximise value-added to the organisation;
- Strive for continuous improvement in all activities;
- Collaborate with other company’s personnel to improve internal work processes and procedures.
