This company is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for their expanding Air and Ocean Freight operations. The role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on senior commercial manager who can work autonomously and develop new verticals. Key Responsibilities : Drive the development and growth of multiple products and freight sales strategies to ensure consistent business expansion in new and existing markets. Establish and grow new verticals, contributing to the company's ambition to expand its footprint in Italy. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including those in specialised sectors such as food and beverage, project cargo, and luxury goods. Support a small but growing team, fostering a collaborative and high-energy sales culture as a senior figure in the office. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Italy, with flexibility regarding regions of focus. Leverage knowledge and support from a global leader to drive new business and bolster the company's position both in Italy and internationally. Qualifications : Strong background in ocean freight; experience in air freight and road transport is beneficial. Experience or specialization in verticals such as food and beverage, project cargo, or luxury goods is advantageous. Ideally based in Milan, Tuscany, Venice, Genoa, or Rome, with the ability to grow business in local territories. A driven, hands-on individual with the ambition to grow and lead within a rapidly expanding business.
