To reach this WOW effect you will be managing and coordinating one of our darkstores focusing on safety, quality, customer experience, productivity, and fun. /p pOn a daily basis, you can expect to: /p ul liEnsure a safe work environment for all your team /li liReview the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives. /li liProactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives /li liBalance labor, ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient MFCs while meeting all production goals /li liEmbrace a start-up mentality and emphasize Glovos’ Core Values /li /ul pbRESPONSIBILITIES /b /p ul liResponsible for at least one MFC /li liEnsuring that you have properly trained people and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs. /li liMotivating, coaching, reporting, and providing feedback of pickers’ and pickers leads’ performance continuously. /li liCoordinate physical and virtual workflows, or flow of orders and materials to ensure products are available dispatched on time. /li liAllocate labor, lead meetings, direct and assign job duties for your team. /li liPerform in depth problem solving in all areas to ensure successful and continuous operations. /li liTrain, audit, and support employees to perform Glovo standard operating procedures and utilizing equipment and software. /li liEnsure pickers have proper tools to perform the job and coordinate repair or replacement when needed. /li liReport and escalate systemic issues to management as necessary and in a timely manner. /li liReview and update Standard Operating Procedures according to Glovo best practices. /li liFully understand processes and daily goals, and make recommendations to improve performance. /li liIdentify, address and resolve safety hazards within the MFC. /li liPerform administrative duties, and additional functions, as needed and determined by management. /li liWork closely with other teams (HR, Category Management, Finance, Facility contractors, Safety Manager, LiveOps...) to create and implement initiatives. /li /ul pbWHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE /b /p ul li3+ years experience in operations, managing multidisciplinary teams, in a retail, distribution, or logistics environment /li liGood communicator and motivator /li liProblem‑solving skill /li liGood logical reasoning /li liPeople management skills (team of 10-20) /li liPrioritization and executional excellence /li liProficiency in Italian and English. /li /ul pbNice to have: /b /p ul liWorking knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques. /li /ul pWe celebrate diversity and encourage all qualified individuals to apply.
