Position Overview Every customer deserves someone who can effectively help organize and orchestrate them towards success. Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Key Account Manager (Southern Europe) provides insight and expertise on everything from big picture planning to day-to-day challenges for their customers. The Key Account Manager role at Earth Rated has a dual component. Firstly, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our biggest customers to build and continue enhancing Earth Rated’s strategic positioning for the short and long-term while continuously improving our solidified partnerships. Secondly, you’ll be responsible for developing and scaling Earth Rated’s presence across the Southern Europe market as well as identifying and progressing opportunities that contribute to the team’s success. In short, we will ask you to join us in painting the world in Earth Rated’s colours! Responsibilities: - Work directly with our new and existing retail customers to achieve monthly sales targets by identifying, developing, and executing strategies within the Southern Europe marketplace. - Determine and monitor KPIs and leverage data for informed decision-making for short-termand long-term financial objectives. - Ensure ROI and profitability from Earth Rated’s marketing & promotional funds to achieve sales targets. - Utilize your CPG and pet industry experience to identify Earth Rated’s next client portfolio within the Southern Europe marketplace. - Collaborate closely with our talented Marketing department to analyze market trends and implement strategies to drive Earth Rated’s growth. - Collaborate with your accounts to provide accurate forecasting for our Operations/Logistics team - Build and cultivate relationships with our retail customers and act as their first point of contact for Earth Rated’s newest product developments to new and existing customers. - Actively grow current retail customers portfolio, manage the trade spend of brands, and negotiate promotions while ensuring that established KPIs are met. - Embrace challenges that lead to innovative and out-of-the-box approaches in order to develop partnerships with new and existing retail customers and ultimately grow Earth Rated’s market share. - Whether you close a major deal or simply prospect a new client, recognize both the small and large achievements that contribute to success in your role and in your team! - Enhance and uphold Earth Rated’s reputation by accepting ownership of sales-driven activities. Expectations: - Current knowledge of pet industry trends and competitors is a must. - Have a strategic perspective that goes beyond short-term gains. - Ability to juggle many moving parts and orchestrate deals and long-term plans that align with a mutually beneficial strategy. - Ability to analyze and identify trends within our categories and your accounts leading to driving sales growth and the proper ROI. - Live our values. - Maintain a “growth mindset” geared towards consistently exceeding financial goals. How this role contributes to the business The Key Account Manager (Southern Europe), Mult-Channel, contributes to Earth Rated’s success by growing revenue, customer retention, strategic planning and gaining market insights. Without this role we would not be able to hit our ambitious growth objectives. In this role you are the face of the brand across all major customers across your designated market. You play a critical role in ensuring that a business' most important clients are satisfied and that our team continues to grow and succeed.
