Job Title: Business Development Manager - Membrane Technologies
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the membrane technologies sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for expanding sales and developing new business opportunities across Italy.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, with a strong understanding of membrane technologies and market requirements. You will be skilled in CRM systems such as Salesforce and confident in delivering product training and high-level customer interactions.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new sales leads, building relationships with key customers and partners.
* Grow Existing Customer Relationships: Strengthen existing relationships, understanding customer needs and application requirements to recommend tailored membrane solutions.
* Contribute to Regional Sales Strategy: Collaborate with regional teams to develop and implement sales strategies, supporting marketing and customer retention initiatives.
* Manage Day-to-Day Sales Operations: Handle offer creation, order follow-up, customer support, and complaint handling.
* Represent Our Client at Trade Fairs and Seminars: Conduct technical product presentations, training workshops, and represent our client at trade fairs and seminars.
Your Profile
Requirements:
* University degree in process or environmental engineering or a related technical field (Master's degree is a plus).
* At least 5 years of sales experience in a technical or industrial environment.
* Experience in the membrane filtration or water treatment sector.
* Proven track record in B2B sales.
* Strong knowledge of membrane technologies, system applications, and market requirements.
