Overview
The core objective of this role is to provide technical expertise to Agents/distributors in order to drive the achievement of sales objectives, as defined by the Regional Sales Manager. The product specialist acts as a partner in the field with agents and distributors, providing crucial information about Neurovascular technologies and products, and collaborating with physicians when necessary. Support education efforts and actively participate in key customer events, workshops, and trainings. Partner with the Country Marketing Manager to follow up Marketing actions and KOL management. What you will do
Key Activities & Accountabilities
Product / Market Development:
* Act as a technical expert for the full range of NV products in the assigned area and be recognized for vast knowledge and expertise of all NV products.
* In collaboration with the Marketing manager, coordinate and execute product training (presentations in front of large audiences of physicians).
* Facilitate Physician to Physician programs and educational trainings.
* Support field execution of sales and marketing programs through active presence in the field, working with agents and distributors.
* Assist Agents and Distributors in Cath Lab whenever necessary.
* Report to the Marketing manager any information necessary to develop creative approaches to market development.
* Support the sales manager.
Building and Maintaining Relationships:
* Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders in the field.
* Develop relationships with agents/distributors through responsiveness to their requirements and needs.
Quality:
* Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply with, and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Stryker.
* Serve as interface to Agents, Customers and Sales Organization with direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and processes to identify, notify and ensure any complaint or problem are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviors.
What you need
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing, pharma, biology, bio-engineering or related experience/training in a medical, scientific, technical field
* 4+ years of experience in medical device sales and/or marketing
* Experience working in the angiographic room
* Native or C2 level of Italian and advanced level of English (C1)
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of sales or marketing experience in neurovascular field
* Advanced degree in a medical or technical field
* Proven track record in NV Sales success
