Amazon is seeking Area Managers for our Fulfillment Centers (FCs) to focus on safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet building objectives.
- Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor and ensure an efficient shift while meeting goals.
- Support all safety programs to maintain a safe work environment for associates.
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
Requirements
- Direct management experience of employees and their performance.
- Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who).
- Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent; or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
