Ph3Experteer Overview /h3pIn this role, you lead the property’s sales and marketing efforts to achieve bookings and revenue targets. You will guide a team of sales associates, implement brand initiatives, and coordinate with regional teams to position the property in the market. You’ll shape property-wide marketing strategies, campaigns, and partnerships to drive revenue and enhance brand visibility. A core focus is building long-term, value-based customer relationships while delivering Marriott’s service standards. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop strategic account plans for demand generators in the market and manage reactive and proactive sales efforts /liliDefine and execute marketing communications with Regional Marketing Communications /liliProvide market intelligence to adapt sales strategies to market and economic trends /liliMonitor market position using STAR reports, competitive shopping, and other data; adjust strategies accordingly /liliResearch competitors’ sales approaches to grow occupancy, RevPAR, and market share /liliParticipate in sales strategy meetings and contribute to weekly and overall strategy /liliGenerate innovative marketing ideas and deployment plans to grow market share /liliCoordinate participation with Area Sales and Group Sales; act as primary sales contact for GM and leadership /liliAdvise customers and act as their advocate; own sales processes and contracts /liliLiaise with Area Sales, Group Sales, Revenue Management, Event Management, and other departments /liliEngage in sales calls to acquire and close business; identify PR opportunities and orchestrate related activities /liliSupport crisis communications for the General Manager; uphold Marriott Customer Service and Brand Standards /liliOversee operational aspects of booked business (proposals, contracts, correspondence) /liliEnsure seamless turnover between sales and operations; uphold high service levels /liliMonitor guest issue resolution from the sales process and escalate appropriately /liliManage the marketing budget to fund property campaigns and collateral /liliInterface with Regional Marketing Communications for regional and national promotions /liliDevelop property-wide marketing strategies to meet brand and owner objectives /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulli3-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major /liliThree years of experience in a similar position /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
