Our warehouses are fast-paced supply chain environments where standing, walking, and having on the production floor conversations are common.As an Area Manager Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn how to coach, motivate and mentor a team of Amazon associates in a warehouse environment. Amazon provides extensive training and development to become an exceptional people leader. Your main focus will be learning to manage a team as well as developing a summer project in partnership with your site leadership.Term: 10 weeksKey job responsibilitiesLearn to coach, manage and develop a team of 50-100 Amazon AssociatesDrive standard work and continuous improvement through an intern projectWork independently and operate in an autonomous environmentStand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hoursWilling and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
