Responsibilities
The role, focused on the coordination of a work team aimed at the development of Exterior Visibility Systems within a vehicle development project, requires at least 2 years of experience in the automotive sector. S/he will take an active part in:
1. Control/monitoring of timing, costs and quality of work;
2. Management of the work team, product suppliers and management of collaboration with other internal department;
3. Customer management;
4. Achievement of the project’s technical objectives relevant to the perimeter of responsibility;
5. Management of "escalation" activities relating to serious problems with a proposed solution;
6. Promotion of the work of the Organizational Unit within the company and towards of the Group Brands.

Key requirements
7. Knowledge of the Exterior Visibility Systems as a product as Glasses, Wipers, Washer systems (guide line, best practices, costs and time);
8. Production technologies and tooling lead time (glasses, plastic and foam molding, welding, surface treatments, linings);
9. Materials technologies (material characteristics);
10. Ability to transform technical contents/targets into economic constraints and geometric constraints into feasible process solutions;
11. Knowledge of the physical phenomena involved in the performance and knoweledge of the points of attention to be monitored;
12. Development and design techniques and processes (design review, robust design, FMEA);
13. Ability to organize/motivate a teamwork depending on needs and contingent situations;
14. Problem solving, ability to synthesize information, priority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilience;
15. Intermediation capacity between his/her own team and the other teams involved;
16. Ability to manage component and system suppliers;
17. Decision making skills combined with an assertive and persuasive leadership style;
18. Multitasking ability respecting the quality standards and required timelines;
19. Ability to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutions;
20. Negotiation skill.
Preferential requirements
21. Technical drawing and modeling (CAD processes, basic knowledge of Catia 5 and data release systems);
22. Quality standards, processes, dynamics typical of an OEM car manufacturer;
23. Legislative/homologation/rating constraints;
24. Knowledge of component verification methods and procedures (eg. testing specifications);
25. Ability to disseminate and transfer methodology and know-how in his/her own project team and to the rest of the department teams.
Other Informations
Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated
