The Global Markets Department is responsible for trading, structuring, and risk managing financial instruments across asset classes. It includes the Structured Products desk, which designs and manages customized investment and hedging solutions combining derivatives and cash instruments to meet client-specific objectives. The Plain Vanilla Market Making desk provides continuous liquidity in standard products, actively quoting prices and managing market risk. Operating at the core of the trading floor, the department relies heavily on robust systems and close collaboration between traders, risk managers, and IT to ensure efficient execution, accurate risk monitoring, and strong P&L; performance
We are seeking an experienced Equity Derivatives Trader to join our Equity Derivatives Team. The trader will be responsible for providing liquidity, pricing, and risk management in listed single stock and Italian index options.
The candidate will also be responsible for developing market making and trading strategies on the T-Bricks platform for listed option market making business. Strategies include relative value and volatility surface arbitrage.
The candidate will manage equity derivatives positions on Italian and pan-European single stocks and major equity European indices (EuroStoxx50, FTSE MIB…) hedging main Greeks via Interdealer Broker and OTC markets and on top will have a client-facing market making role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-10 years of sell-side experience trading single stock options, ideally in a market making or client-facing role. In-depth knowledge of options pricing models, volatility surfaces, and risk management. Strong client relationship management and communication skills. Proficiency with electronic trading platforms and analytical tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, Python; familiarity with market making technology is a plus)
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- English: fluent
- In-depth knowledge of T-Bricks platform. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated track record in managing risk and generating P&L;
