Our Brand Manager, Italy will lead the launch and development of ILIA brand in the Italian market, overseeing both its strategic and operational development. The role is key in defining the brand positioning, building desirability, and ensuring consistency with premium beauty standards, contributing to establishing the brand as a category reference. The Brand Manager is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities, coordinating product launches, and developing communication campaigns, ensuring an effective and distinctive go‑to‑market strategy. They work closely with the brand’s commercial representative for Italy and with external partners to ensure the proper implementation of brand strategies across all channels, guaranteeing consistency, quality, and results.

This role is an on-site position and open to candidates based in and maintain work authorization in Milan, Italy.

Responsibilities

- Definition and implementation of the local brand strategy, with a strong focus on the launch phase and on building brand equity in the Italian market, in line with international guidelines.

- Development and management of brand positioning, ensuring consistency with brand values and overseeing the entire product lifecycle (development, launch, relaunch).

- Planning, coordination, and monitoring of product launches, ensuring an effective and competitive market introduction in Italy, including pricing and forecasting definition in close collaboration with the international team.

- Brand budget management, with continuous monitoring of performance and KPIs (sell‑in, sell‑out, market share), ensuring target achievement and investment optimization.

- Management of the product portfolio and in‑store positioning strategy across selected retail channels.

- Cross‑functional collaboration with HQ (sales, trade marketing, retail, digital, training) and coordination with national stakeholders to ensure an integrated and consistent launch across all touchpoints and continuous monitoring.

- Monitoring and optimization of marketing campaign performance and initiatives.

- Development and implementation of promotional activities and consumer‑centric activation plans aimed at increasing traffic, conversion, and loyalty, with a strong focus on brand launch and customer base building.

- Supervision of brand image across all touchpoints (retail, e‑commerce, visual merchandising, events), ensuring consistent and high‑level customer experience.

- Implementation of Social and Digital plans nationwide in collaboration with the international team, with a focus on building awareness and engagement both during launch and post‑launch phases in the Italian market.

- Management of influencer marketing and PR activities, as well as online and offline advertising, including the creation of tailored content and campaigns.

- Analysis of the Italian market, beauty trends, and competitor activities, identifying growth opportunities and adapting global strategies to local specificities.

- Promotion of a results‑driven, innovation‑oriented culture focused on the progressive long‑term success of the brand.

Education/Degree

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or equivalent fields.

- Master’s degree (preferred), especially in Marketing or Luxury Management.

Background/Experience

- Knowledge of the beauty and/or cosmetics sector.

- 3–5 years of experience in marketing or brand management.

- Background in the beauty industry, preferably in makeup.

Technical Skills

- Strategic and operational marketing.

- Good knowledge of the digital and influencer sector, with strong interest in social media.

- Preferably an active personal digital profile with a significant number of followers.

- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

- Project management skills.

- Data analysis and KPIs (sell‑in, sell‑out).

Language

- Fluent in English and Italian.
