Musthad is an innovative startup on a mission to turn the fashion industry’s massive excesses into efficiency, through a tech-backed circular economy approach.
We built a data-driven platform that enables the activation and monitoring of circular supply chains, bridging the gap between fashion companies’ warehouses and circular operators such as recyclers, resellers, upcyclers.
To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a Business Developer ready to scale our market presence.
You won’t just be a salesperson: you will be the point of reference for our business development, defining our go-to-market strategy, opening doors with senior stakeholders, and shaping Musthad’s positioning in a complex but booming market.
đź’Ľ ROLE OVERVIEW
You will be the engine of our commercial growth. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Go-to-Market Strategy: Contribute to defining the commercial strategy, priority segments, and sales positioning in close collaboration with the founders.
* Pipeline Development: Identify, approach, and qualify new business opportunities within the textile and fashion sector, building a strong and high-quality sales pipeline across Europe, with an eye on global expansion.
* Full-Cycle Deal Management: Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to the final stages, collaborating with the founding team to secure contract signatures and ensure a seamless handover to Account Management.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage, build trust and relationships with key decision-makers, effectively presenting our value proposition to Operations/Sustainability leaders, and C-level executives.
* Market & Industry Intelligence: Continuously monitor market dynamics, regulatory developments, and circular economy trends to identify new opportunities, refine our positioning, and drive highly informed commercial conversations.
* Strategic Execution: Work closely with the founders to translate growth objectives into concrete, measurable commercial actions.
📍 PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a driven professional with a proven sales track record and a strong results-oriented mindset.
Requirements
* Location: Based in Milan or surrounding areas (hybrid work model).
* Languages: Native proficiency of Italian language; Fluent and professional English (C1/C2 level) is mandatory.
* Experience: 4-6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Executive roles, preferably in B2B environments.
* Industry Affinity: Previous experience and a genuine passion for the Fashion and Supply Chain industries.
* Sales Expertise: Proven ability to manage complex, end-to-end sales cycles with senior stakeholders.
* Data-Driven: Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in using CRM systems for pipeline management and reporting.
* Autonomy: Ability to work independently, taking initiative and managing priorities effectively within a fast-paced startup environment.
