Position: Area Manager for Italy – Trade Sector (Resident in Triveneto)
Our Veneto-based client, a leading company in the production of flooring for both indoor and outdoor spaces (offices, public spaces, sports facilities), wall panels, and soundproofing panels, positioned in the high-end market segment, is seeking an immediate hire for an Area Manager for Italy – Trade Sector, based in the Triveneto region.
The new hire will play a key role in developing business across various regions in Italy, ensuring sales and revenue targets are met within the set timelines and budgets.
Main Activities:
* Market segmentation and management of the commercial budget across different sectors
* Monitoring sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
* Follow-up on deliveries, payments, and complaints, ensuring compliance with agreed conditions
* Training agencies and clients on products through territorial and in-company activities
* Analyzing competitors and positioning products according to company protocols
* Visiting sales regions with agencies to contact clients, top clients, and distributors
* Identifying and resolving issues related to service and product quality
* Reporting contacts and negotiations with major distributors (top clients) to the company
* Willingness to travel nationwide is essential: this role requires approximately 60-70% of time on the road (departing Tuesday, returning Friday evening).
* Technical diploma or degree in economics
* Additional training in sales techniques, commercial management, marketing, etc., is a plus
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
* Minimum of five years of experience, with at least two in companies in the finishing sector (wood, PVC, carpet, profiles, subfloors, surface paints)
* Ability to communicate honestly and transparently, both orally and in writing
* Dynamic, proactive, with a global business perspective and a clear sales orientation
* Analytical skills
* Experience in managing sales teams (agents), including coaching roles
