Baglio Occhipinti, a boutique agricultural estate surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and organic gardens in the countryside of Ragusa, announces an international open call for a Resident Farmer Chef: a creative chef who wants to live, cook and create in the heart of rural Sicily for 2 to 6 months, with the possibility of a longer seasonal stay. **Your Role**
- Lead the kitchen with an authentic farm-to-table approach, using ingredients harvested daily from our gardens, orchards and olive groves.
- Create menus inspired by Mediterranean tradition, interpreted with elegance and contemporary sensitivity.
- Work closely with our agricultural team to plan seasonal harvests, heritage varieties and new growing projects.
- Propose engaging culinary experiences for guests: vineyard dinners, private tables in the garden, tastings, special events.
- Collaborate with local winemakers and producers to integrate natural wines and small artisan ingredients into your cuisine. This is not merely a chef position:

- Previous experience in fine dining, boutique hotels, eco-resorts or high-level kitchens.

- True passion for agriculture, seasonality, biodiversity and Mediterranean ingredients.
- A curious, sensitive spirit capable of combining technique with poetry.
