Amazon Japan Fashion marketplace is seeking a talented, driven and customer‑obsessed Sr. Product Manager who is strategically oriented, communicative, relationship‑building, detail‑oriented, and process driven.
The ideal candidate is passionate about driving and creating mechanisms to improve the customer shopping experience. As the Senior Product Manager, you will elevate the shopping experience for customers and brands on Amazon by launching, streamlining, and building products, programs, processes, and tools to improve fashion wear shopping on Amazon. This role works closely with technology and marketing partners to build an elevated experience that inspires more customers and grows market segment share. You will also work with cross‑functional partners to decrease returns, scale visual evaluation, improve search ranking, advance catalog improvements, and collaborate with global teams.
The role requires a technical background, high organization, analytical skills, and the ability to manage critical projects concurrently to successful completion. You should be comfortable pioneering new ideas and operationalizing them quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and launch initiatives that improve the customer shopping experience for fashion wear.
- Collaborate with technology, catalog, product quality, brand protection, and partner teams across multiple Amazon organizations.
- Build and execute on new initiatives and roadmaps each year.
- Develop a long‑term strategy with external and internal stakeholders to elevate strategic projects and drive positive customer experience.
- Create clear and detailed SOPs and functional requirements.
- Partner globally to develop, launch and scale processes that balance brand needs with customer trust.
- Analyze and leverage data to assess risk and identify proactive mitigation mechanisms.
- Leverage industry best practices to establish repeatable practices, principles, and processes.
- Communicate roadmap to stakeholders and present projects to senior leadership.
- Earn trust quickly and build relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end‑to‑end product delivery.
- Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product.
- Experience owning technology products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience influencing senior leadership through data‑driven insights.
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
