We're seeking a Principal Product Manager, Technical to lead Amazon's product compatibility data strategy. This role will shape how millions of customers discover and purchase compatible products across Amazon's global marketplace. You'll own the end-to-end data generation lifecycle that powers compatibility matching across categories like electronics, home appliances, and accessories, helping customers confidently find products that work together.
Key job responsibilities
Define and execute the 3-5 year strategic vision for Amazon's compatibility data generation, quality, and distribution strategy
Lead development of next-generation data processing systems to revolutionize how compatibility information is managed and served
Drive integration with key Amazon shopping and personalization systems
Own relationships with critical internal partners across retail, catalog, and engineering teams
Mentor and provide technical leadership to Product Managers
Establish data quality standards and drive continuous improvement through automated feedback loops
Lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple engineering teams across Amazon
About the team
The Unicom team is dedicated to creating systems and experiences that help customers find products that fit other products they own. If you own a printer, we help you find ink. If you own a car, we help you find wiper blades. We work with a wide group of stakeholders and partners to make Amazon the best place to find products compatible with the things customers already own.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of technical product or program management experience
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders
MBA
