Collection Merchandiser Denim: Diesel has long been a leading pioneer in denim and casual fashion, known for moving outside and ahead of trends in its industry. At Diesel Headquarter located in Breganze (Italy), we are looking for a Collection Merchandiser, who will be placed within the Global Merchandising Department. The role will support the team in the identification and realization of a structure of the Denim collection assortment. The role’s main responsibilities are: Regular Sell Through Analysis - Monitor sell through from our retail Mono-Brand stores and provide regular reports to Collection Merchandising Manager Denim, identifying key sales drivers, highlighting poor product performances, liaising with buying teams to better understand issues/successes, and working on possible actions to increase sales or reduce sell through issues. Competitor analysis - Regularly present to the manager a competitor analysis and ad hoc presentations, in order to support the manager on make decisions on brand positioning and pricing structure. - Constantly be updated on the fashion business and market, perform regular research through websites, fashion shows, market feedback and market visits. Participate in product development meetings - Participate in product development meetings between Merchandising, Style & Product - Provide input and feedback to aid development of the collection. Trend research - Follow latest trends and fashions relevant to the Denim categories. - Participate in market visits to gain first-hand knowledge of what are the brands and trends relevant to the Denim categories. Main interfaces: You will report to the Collection Merchandising Manager Denim and work closely with: - Global Collection and Retail Merchandising Teams - Style & Product departments - Commercial departments - Marketing Department What requirements you need to have: - Educational background in business management or similar and a minimum of 4 year experience within roles of Brand/Merchandising/Buying in a fashion company modernly structured. - International mindset and experience gained in both educational and career paths. - Great passion for fashion and sound knowledge of the current market and consumer trends. - Strong analytical skills and mindset, proficiency in Excel and Power Point. - Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to problem solving and to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm. - Fluent in English.
