We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead commercial development in the Verona region for a large leading global logistics organisation. The role focuses on driving new business, strengthening customer acquisition, and shaping the future commercial direction of the area. It requires a seasoned freight‑forwarding sales leader with a strong hunter mentality and the ability to deliver hands‑on commercial impact. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business across key verticals: Retail, Automotive, Fashion, and Food & Beverage, and more.Proactively identify, target, and acquire new clients.Manage core commercial KPIs including meetings, proposals, pipeline growth, new logo acquisition, and gross profit from new business. Partner with operations and senior commercial leadership to ensure seamless service and onboarding.Support the evolution of the regional sales function, including future identification and development of sales talent. Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting while contributing to improved commercial processes and strategy.Role ContextVerona currently requires a hands‑on sales leader, with strong individual contribution expected initially. As the region grows, the role will evolve into a broader sales leadership position, contributing to the build‑out of a regional commercial team.
