About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our commercial efforts in the Italian market. As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that drives business growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Strategy Development: Define and execute a sales strategy aligned with company objectives, identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer portfolio.
2. New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue emerging trends and developments within the sector, capitalizing on untapped potential.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and loyalty through effective communication and negotiation.
4. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competition, and industry developments, providing insightful analysis and reports to management.
Candidate Requirements
1. Education: Degree in technical, economic disciplines, or equivalent; an engineering background is advantageous.
2. Sales Experience: 7-10 years of proven sales experience in the photovoltaic sector, preferably with a focus on modules.
3. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Italian BESS market and supply chain (EPCs, developers, installers, distributors).
4. Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, with a results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently and under pressure.
5. Language Proficiency: Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory).
