Junior Business Development Manager - Personnel Certification RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Business Development Manager - Personnel Certification to join its office in Rome, Milan, or Verona, Italy, within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division. Mission The mission of a Business Development Manager (BDM) is to drive growth and expand business opportunities for the organization. The BDM is responsible for increasing the pipeline offering and winning contracts for an assigned services portfolio and/or within an assigned geographical area. Key Accountabilities Manage and monitor the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of orders and analyzing performance indicators. Identify and add new potential clients to the sales pipeline through research and prospect assessment. Negotiate and secure major contracts; support in preparing tenders and quotations. Lead activities to close contracts successfully and document lessons learned for process improvement. Collaborate across departments to identify cross-selling opportunities and develop strategies for mutual growth. Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to adapt organizational strategies accordingly. Generate new sales and business opportunities through client visits and relationship management. Identify and develop alliances and partnerships to explore new markets and expand business reach. Engage with customers to understand their needs, ensuring satisfaction and supporting new market development. Stay updated on organizational offerings and technological solutions to effectively communicate value to customers. Education Master’s Degree in Engineering (General) or Economics. Qualifications Substantial experience in business development, sales, or related roles (2-3 years or more). Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation skills and analytical thinking. Deep industry knowledge, familiarity with CRM systems, and experience in the training sector, ISO/IEC 17021 certification scheme, and ISO/IEC 17024 requirements.
