Position Overview
The junior sales analyst supports sales analyst and sales team by providing insights and recommendations on the business performances. This role includes active interactions with Sales, Merchandise & Planning and Finance departments. Responsibilities include fiscal year budget preparation and forecast follow up with contributions on strategic analysis by brand, channel, region, and account.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Collecting sales analysis and increasing overall sales results.
2. Building reports to track key performance indicators (retail sales, sell thru, current economic conditions, competition, and customer behaviors) to drive and improve the decision-making process.
3. Focusing primarily on wholesale business, working closely with the sales team to create an omnichannel reporting culture.
4. Performing detailed business analysis, coordinating various project timelines and deliverables.
5. Leading requirements gathering analysis and verification meetings, ensuring final statements are accurate, verifiable, consistent, feasible, and comprehensive.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Manage Omni-channel reporting, coordinating all different players to ensure accurate and high-level business analysis and projects.
2. Update sales reporting for the regional sales team and the European headquarter sales analyst team based in Geneva and London.
3. Guide salespeople in the definition of the Budget Process and in the development of Budget Presentation.
4. Collect, analyze, and evaluate data to provide tools to support business decisions.
5. Track sales market figures and Retail Sales by customers and brand, reviewing the sales budget and forecast including sales to budget variance, to target, and to previous year.
6. Elaborate proposal drafts, ensuring that meetings with internal and external customers have data consistency.
7. Produce ad hoc reporting for Sales, Merchandising & Planning, and Senior Management.
8. Generate presentations for Management meetings.
