Based: Padua / north-east Italy.
Kidde Global Solutions are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to support and grow KGS overall Fire and Security portfolio in north-east part of Italy, to increase our market share, as well as to support our existing Sales Team and lay the foundations to grow revenues. The role includes also Account Management for a mini-region of Balkan countries + Greece (one travel per country per year). Candidate is expected to be based in the area of north-eastern Italy.
In order to grow our products and services sold in the respective geographical area, BDM’s activity will have the focus on identifying and targeting the following:
Tasks and details:
* Actively look for / Identify new opportunities and partners, propose solutions and follow up on them.
* Make regular visits / Identify Projects and follow through from conception to close.
* Meet agreed sales and Gross Margin objectives both monthly and annually
* Keep regular contact / meet clients as required, to develop business (both remotely and in person/travelling) on a regular basis.
* Prepare, submit and follow up quotations.
* Host seminars and trainings (at customer premises and remotely).
* Support Sales Team to ensure they meet and exceed their targets.
Main requirements:
* Min. Bachelor degree (University degree will be an advantage).
* Minimum of 4 years of Business Development / sales experience, ideally in the fire alarm or security industry (but not a hard requirement).
* Specific experience in promoting, specifying and selling complete solutions for construction to distributors, system integrators and end users - highly desirable.
* Strong ability to create and develop good working relationships with clients.
* Self-motivated, able to work with the minimum of supervision, ability to handle difficult and complicated situations.
* Enthusiastic, with the ability to meet the challenges presented.
* Good communication skills, great team player.
* Ability to project a strong sense of confidence and expertise, when proposing our solutions as the primary product to select or as alternatives to competitor proposals.
