Experteer Overview In this role you drive HP's growth in the Italian Defense sector by identifying strategic opportunities and building trusted relationships across public and private defense ecosystems. You will shape deals, accelerate multi-year sales cycles, and position HP's technology portfolio with key decision-makers. You work closely with partners and HP teams to translate needs into scalable offerings, contributing to secure, compliant, and sovereign technology solutions. This is a high‐impact, cross‐functional influencer role.
Retribuzione / Benefits Lead defense-focused business development in Italy from opportunity identification to revenue realization
Accelerate complex, multi-year defense sales cycles in partnership with HP account teams
Build and maintain a high-value network across the defense ecosystem
Act as a trusted advisor on themes like digital sovereignty, secure supply chains, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance
Represent HP at defense forums, institutional meetings, and industry events
Map stakeholders, track programs and procurement priorities to identify growth segments
Collaborate with distribution and channel partners to translate SMB needs into scalable HP offerings
Localize HP's defense value proposition with the Public Sector Center of Excellence and SEMEA teams
Support ABM, executive engagements, and defense-focused industry events
Strengthen HP's positioning as a secure, compliant technology partner for defense organizations
Identify and prioritize certifications and compliance requirements to align BD activities with defense regulations
Responsabilità 5 to 10+ years of experience in the defense sector
10+ years of experience in business development, account management, or strategic sales
Demonstrated experience navigating complex institutional and defense ecosystems
Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
Italian (native or fluent) and English (professional fluency)
