Overview
The Hassler Roma is one of the most prestigious hotels in the world, owned by Roberto B. Wirth and Veruschka B. Wirth, part of a renowned Swiss dynasty of hoteliers. The hotel is known for its elegance, style, and top-quality service, making it a preferred destination for VIPs globally. Located in the heart of Rome, next to the famous Spanish Steps and Piazza di Spagna, it features 82 rooms and suites and the Michelin-starred panoramic restaurant Imàgo. The Hassler also owns Il Palazzetto, a charming 16th-century property offering a panoramic cocktail bar and private event space.
Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing strategies to achieve financial results, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction. Leading the Sales & Marketing Team with the responsibility of meeting revenue targets and growing market share for the property.
* Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to advise Management and implement strategies that maintain the hotel as a market leader through the development of commercial initiatives.
* Developing and implementing the business plan aimed at maximizing sales and marketing efforts across all segments (International/National Luxury Leisure, Leisure/TO/Groups, Corporate & MICE) in order to achieve company targets.
* Preparing corporate contracts for the hotel in accordance with current commercial conditions and pricing policies.
* Defining and managing plans and strategies with public relations and social media agencies.
* Defining and managing strategic plans to acquire and develop business partnerships to achieve company objectives.
* Defining the annual Sales & Marketing budget and identifying the best strategies for action and growth in order to reach company goals.
* Collaborating with other hotel departments to create a unique guest experience and develop sales programs.
* Ensuring that sales and marketing information provided to operational departments is timely, accurate, and enables the property to meet or exceed guest expectations, build loyalty, and increase market share.
* Identifying changing market conditions and introducing appropriate adjustments to sales and marketing strategies.
* Attending trade shows and industry events.
* Negotiating room rates/packages with clients.
Qualifications
* 4 to 5 year experience in a similar role gained within luxury hotels of equal standing.
* Fluent knowledge of Italian and English and preferably a third language.
* Background in the tourism sector, with a passion for sales and marketing and for achieving ambitious goals and objectives.
* Additional requirements: excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, customer orientation, and availability to travel both in Italy and abroad.
