The Engineering Division of RANDSTAD PROFESSIONAL Leaders Search & Selection, specialized in the search & selection of middle & senior management profiles – on behalf of a multinational company operating in the Industrial Automation sector, is looking for a :
SALES EXECUTIVE
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the candidate will manage, develop, and maintain the company’s national presence, providing technical-commercial support to manage and grow the client base.
Responsibilities :
* Plan prospecting activities for the assigned area (Italy);
* Draw up and monitor the sales budget for the assigned customers and markets, analyzing sales data and business opportunities;
* Schedule visitsto prospective and existing clients within the territory;
* Oversee every phase of the sale :
* identify specific needs, prepare quotations, and conduct commercial negotiations, liaising with the Technical Office to define costs and margins;
* Provide consultancy to customers, designing customized solutions and monitoring their evolution over time.;
* Update and adjust commercial policies for assigned customers and markets, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements;
* Conduct follow-up activities, verify customer satisfaction and loyalty, and promote repeat business;
* Report onactivities through regular sales reporting;
* Collaborate with the group sales management for quotations and negotiations;
* Participate in national and international trade fairs.
Requirements :
* High-school diploma or university degree, preferably in a technical field;
* 5–7 years’ experience in a technical-commercial role within industrial automation companies;
* Willingness to travel on a national scale (about 50 % of the time).
* Fluent written and spoken English.
Market orientation, strong communication and negotiation skills, methodical approach, planning ability, initiative, flexibility, and a strong results focus are considered essential requirements.
