You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AC and/or DC charging hardware, ensuring regulatory compliance, customer competitiveness, technical reliability, and business profitability — while coordinating with software teams to deliver a seamless ecosystem experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership & Roadmap: Define and own the product roadmap for home & semi-public/pro AC/DC charging hardware .Translate customer needs, regulatory requirements, and OEM/market trends into detailed product specifications (HW + interfaces) .Lead Value Engineering / cost-down initiatives to improve COGS competitiveness without compromising quality.Technical & Industrial CoordinationWork daily with R&D, Engineering & Manufacturing teams to drive:Electrical architecture, firmware interfaces, thermal/EMC constraints, safetyIndustrialization plans, production kickoff & certification documentationSupplier & component validation during RFQ and mass productionGuarantee product compliance and certification readiness (CE, MID, AFIR, ISO15118, OCPP, Smart Charging, etc.)Digital & Ecosystem IntegrationEnsure seamless integration with Charging Platform (CPMS) and Mobile App UX — API-level coordination with digital product managers.Define HW-SW feature dependencies (e.G., Plug & Charge ISO15118, Smart Charging, V2G, dynamic load balancing).Business Ownership & Go-to-MarketBuild the business case and go-to-market strategy for each EVSE product.Define pricing, positioning, offering variants (Base vs. Smart vs. OEM-specific) .Support market rollout in collaboration with B2C/B2B sales teams .Provide competitive benchmarkingVoice of CustomerAct as the center of excellence for product positioning, coordinating with:OEMs, Utilities, Installers, Fleet operators, Charging networksCollect insights from the field and prioritize real market needs, not theoretical features.QualificationsEngineering Tech Degree (Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or similar).2+ years of experience managing EVSE hardware, energy infrastructure, automotive electronics, or industrial IoT products .Solid understanding of power electronics + HW certifications + firmware dependencies .Comfortable working at intersection of hardware, software, and business strategy .Plus (Nice-to-Have)Knowledge of ISO15118, OCPP, smart charging / PV integration / V2GExperience with OEM partnerships / utility collaboration / installers networkUnderstanding of EV charging business models (CAPEX/OPEX/Services/Subscriptions)Work LocationTurin or MilanHybrid
