A Day In The Life : Field Interviewers at NORC /liliFlexible, part-time work (20 - 25 hours a week). /liliOur most successful field interviewers typically dedicate 4-6 hours a day to interviewing. /liliSelf-starter who can manage, organize, and commit to your own work schedule while meeting weekly requirements. /liliComfortable meeting with people often unannounced at their homes, jobs, or other public spaces to conduct interviews. /liliHas prior field interviewing, sales, teaching, healthcare, or customer service experience /liliRequirements For Employment /liliMust be at least 18 years of age. /liliHigh School Diploma or GED Preferred. /liliValid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and access to reliable transportation. /liliAvailable to work a mix of weekdays, and evenings / weekends often to reach people who are not home during the work week. /liliMust be willing to drive 50 - 100 miles to complete required tasks. /liliMust attend one 7 day in-person training session between February, March, April; conducted in suburban Chicago. /liliMust have working knowledge and ability to navigate multiple aspects of technology and materials, including computer, iPad, and project phone; strong proficiency with Microsoft Office. /liliComfortable with collection of physical measures (height and weight), as well as collecting biological samples (saliva). /liliAll employees hired for this position must present evidence of their identity; authorization to work in the United States and pass a background check. /liliQualified applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. We regret that we are unable to offer VISA sponsorship for this position. _ /liliSalary And Benefits /li /ulpThis position is classified as intermittent.
