We are seeking a Junior Business Developer for our Business Development & Marketing team in our expanding Italian branch. The selected candidate will collaborate in defining and executing development plans, actively contribute to achieving economic and business objectives, and strengthen the company's positioning.
Primary educational and professional requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
* At least 2 years of experience in commercial roles within engineering/IT sectors
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to adapt communication style to the audience and purpose
* Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively, also in English
* Good time management skills, prioritizing and pursuing goals
* Propensity to manage rapid changes
* Proactivity and willingness to learn in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
* Goal-oriented attitude
* Advanced business English skills (C1 or higher)
Preferred requirements:
* Basic knowledge of Spanish
* Previous experience in international companies
* Experience in engineering consulting firms
Main responsibilities:
* Active search and attraction of new clients and suppliers in the Italian market
* Strategic management of existing client portfolio
* Preparation of budgets and commercial offers
* Contract negotiation
* Support in project management
* Client communication during acquisition, proposal presentation, and project phases
* Coordination with SOLIDA's technical team in Rome and Madrid
* Market research, competitor analysis, and sector trend monitoring
* Participation in industry events and fairs
