Role's Overview
In this position you will be responsible for executing and developing profitable sales for the entire Fire products portfolio in the north-east of Italy (Triveneto region), with identification of business development opportunities and product requirements. You will report into the Padua Branch Manager for Fire and will be based in Padua.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement the sales strategy in the assigned territory, as per the Local Plan objectives.
Develop and maintain close customer relationships by regularly scheduled contacts and visits.
Establish, manage and develop a solid network of partnerships with integrators, installers and distributors.
Increase the region's sales at required level and profitability.
Provide commercial support and assistance to existing customers and prospects and suggest new applications, adaptations or modifications to existing product lines in order to solve specific customer system problems.
Elaborate and participate in commercial presentations and workshops.
Expand the customer base, maintain and develop customer relationships on a long‐term basis through adequate Key Account Management.
Come up with integrated and customized solutions to meet the customers' requirements.
Support the existing business, implementing the available tools and providing new ideas and suggestions.
Tasks
Assist in planning and developing short and long‐term sales and marketing strategy within territory to achieve given turnover targets.
Negotiate prices within the established procedure to ensure profitable sales orders.
Analyze customer and market needs as well as competitors' products and sales strategies, promptly reporting new developments.
Facilitate specific and regular customer product training to ensure proper understanding of KGS Fire products.
Accompany installers and/or the technical support engineer on troubleshooting assignments and call on end‐users when required, to take corrective action and ensure customer satisfaction.
Offer marketing and product management suggestions for product development to meet customer requirements.
Key requirements
Min. Bachelor degree (technical, commercial, business field).
Min. 4 years of experience in a sales/account management role in a B2B environment.
Proven sales record in a security/technology environment.
Experience with Fire Alarm/security systems; knowledge of KGS Fire product range (fire detection, intrusion detection, access control, alarm monitoring and digital CCTV systems) seen as an advantage.
Good technical understanding of products, however we are not looking for technical experts.
Fluent in Italian and English.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a team and to share ideas to help the team succeed.
Strong influencing skills and energy, can‐do attitude.
Ability to successfully work towards deadlines in a demanding and fast‐paced environment.
