Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and recruiting new dealers, supporting and developing existing distributors, and managing key accounts in Italy and surrounding countries.
Main Responsibilities:
* Achieve regional sales targets and maximize sales volumes
* Create regional sales plans and quotas in line with business objectives
* Conduct direct and indirect business development activities to develop new distribution channels and key accounts
* Drive and support distributors in the development of their business activities
* Respond to, track and close sales inquiries in cooperation with distributors
* Visit customers and conduct hands-on demonstrations to effectively convert business leads into orders
* Propose, organize and participate in trade shows, events and promotional roadshows
* Analyze regional market trends and discover new growth opportunities
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing/Engineering
* A minimum of 3 years of proven B to B sales experience in relevant Geospatial industries (GNSS positioning/navigation, LiDAR mapping, unmanned surveying, construction engineering, GIS, land surveying, precision agriculture)
* Fluency in Italian and professional level of English - written and oral
* Experience in international dealer management is a plus for this position
* Results oriented, with a positive outlook, and a clear goal of high quality and commercial profit
* Possesses strong negotiation and excellent face-to-face communication skills
Travel Requirements
This position requires frequent travel in Italian speaking countries (approximately 50%) and occasional travel in Europe to visit business partners/clients, trade shows and strategic accounts.
