Our cluster is in Colturano (MI) and it supports the distribution network of Lely Centers in South-East Europe and Turkey. We are a young and enthusiastic team, consisting of 40 people distributed between Colturano office and Istanbul branch office.
Job Description
Your Role
As Commercial Product Specialist Large Farming you will play a crucial role in supporting our Lely Centers Network and internal teams in SEET region. You will act as the go-to person for commercial aspects related to the Large Farming proposition. You will contribute to the development of marketing campaigns and commercial activities to achieve maximum market penetration in Large Dairies in the Cluster area. You travel regularly within the SEET geographical area to maintain close relationships with cluster teams and Lely Center Network. You will train the sales team on the field to gain confidence dealing with large farming projects. You will be part of the Business Team Milking of the cluster SEET reporting to Manager Proposition Milking.
Key responsibilities
Support our Lely Center in Large Dairies Business to drive adoption of robotics and increase market share in their area;
Visit Large dairy farmers with the Lely Center Sales advisor to enable Sales team to gain a professional approach during farm visits;
Ensure Sales teams in the Lely Center actively use the CRM tool, maintain proper funnel management practices, and update all necessary information regularly;
Train the Lely Center team on Lely propositions and sales tools in strong cooperation with Cluster colleagues of other departments (Farm Manager Support, Project Coordinators, and other Commercial product specialists);
Provide information on market dynamics, competitor analyses to help determine Large Dairy potential per area;
Ensure all marketing and commercial material of the proposition are properly translated and adapted to local needs;
Support organizing events and activities targeted at Large Dairies and based on the market needs in strong cooperation with marketing team;
Assist with New Product Introductions (NPIs) and processes teaming up with International and Cluster colleagues and drive Lely Center to a successful NPI roll‑out;
Periodically connect with International colleagues to align on contents and tools to be delivered in the field, collaborate in international workshops, and share experiences and exchange best practices between Lely Centers and Clusters
Qualifications
Agricultural background: experience in the agricultural sector, ideally within dairy farming: knows cows, routines in the barn, dairy sector is a big plus;
Project management skills – capable of setting milestones on projects and coordinating people to achieve goals in time;
Commercial mindset: you enjoy selling, identifying customer needs, and delivering effective solutions;
Strong communicator: you are skilled at building relationships, managing stakeholders, and influencing decisions;
Good presentation skills and experience delivering training;
Team player: collaborative, proactive, and supportive of other departments;
Results‑driven: able to work independently, set clear goals, and manage priorities effectively;
Strong communication skills both in Italian and professional English;
You are willing to travel, both nationally and internationally, to maintain strong connections with teams and partners. xjrgpwk
