The Electric Car has taken off with a steep high ramp-up. As a next step, we want to develop the segment of electrified public transport further. For this we are searching for professionals able to develop and grow our business in the Bus & Public Transport segment by defining & implementing a segment specific sales strategy as well as actively working with front-end sales in our markets. This position reports to: E-Mobility Channel Manager Your responsibilities: - In order to succeed in this role, you are a pro-active Sales Manager professional with affinity for innovative technical products and you have lots of enthusiasm for products and solutions in the e-Mobility industry. - This is an autonomous and dedicated role where you will be given opportunities to bring and build innovation while having support of your colleagues within the global segment sales manager team. - You will lead all global sales activities within the Bus segment and ensure that the E-mobility business substantially increase sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction in this segment. - Work in close collaboration with global business area, marketing & communication as well as key account management function to drive a common strategy. - Monitor proactively assigned segment sales performance, ensuring develpment and implementation of correction actions to secure business growth when and where needed - Develop and locally implement a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales. - Build relationships with key internal & external influencers to educate, inform and solicit support for new ABB ventures and technical developments. Your background: - 5 or more years of experience in e-Mobility or Electrification, working as sales, account or business development manager, within charging infrastructure or similar products and technologies - Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Business Management or similar - Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing as segment specific sales strategy - Experience in working on a global level with multi-national, -cultural & remote teams - A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills - Proficiency in English More about us:
