As a Sushi Chef de Partie at Zuma, you’ll play a key role in creating our signature dishes, combining tradition with modern flair. Work with the sushi team, delegate duties effectively, ensuring operational standards, safety, and consistency are upheld
Oversee food preparation processes, minimizing waste and maintaining control of stock through regular inventory checks and planning
Ensure the sushi area and all sections of the kitchen are ready for service, demonstrating versatility and leadership across the kitchen
Estimate food needs accurately and plan orders for perishables and equipment, optimizing resources and minimizing excess
Maintain high standards for equipment use and handling, reducing breakages and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Support the growth of the sushi team through training, regular performance reviews, and structured onboarding for new members.

Proven experience as a sushi chef in a luxury high-volume restaurant
