Overview
Prospero Group is seeking an experienced Operations & Business Development Manager to join the team in Guernsey. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role focuses on building and growing delivery of hard facilities management services, ensuring high standards of compliance, safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop service coordinators and skilled trades teams
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance services
- Manage operational planning and budgets
- Maintain strong client relationships
- Drive continuous improvement across service delivery
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor performance and manage suppliers and contractors
- Provide technical support where required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an operational management role within the facilities management or building services sector
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and general building maintenance
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a client-facing environment
- Relevant engineering, facilities management or technical qualifications preferred
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent considered advantageous
