The Technical Account Manager, reporting to the Beauty & Personal Care Business Manager, is the resource of the Commercial Area, which, in coordination with its reference Commercial Account Manager, follows the sales, promotion, maintenance, and development of Customers in your area for the Personal Care sector, focusing on the technical aspects of sales.
Main responsibilities
* Develop effective customer relationships and actively seek new product opportunities.
* Prepare technical presentations on cosmetic formulations for the customer's R&D department.
* Support the customer's R&D department at a technical level.
* Visit customers on high-profitability projects, build relationships, and provide technical reliability.
* Follow the sales cycle (proposals, samples, visits, etc.).
* Develop new perspectives proactively and monitor competitive activity.
* Represent suppliers and exchange market information effectively between trading partners, maintaining compliance standards.
* Constantly monitor the market by mapping technological innovations, regulatory updates, and legislation.
* Keep the CRM system up to date, generating "Target Business Opportunities" that ensure growth.

* Establish and maintain relationships with customers.
* Outline a clear picture of the market: customers, applications, and competitors.
* Follow the market (products, opportunities, competitors, new suppliers, new customers).
* Identify potential markets and customers in Italy for the assigned products.
* Visit potential and existing customers.
* Prepare presentations explaining products to customers and potential customers.
* Manage and interpret customer needs.
* Offer after-sales support and technical services, solving customer problems.
* Provide technical documentation for products.
* Collaborate with sales team members and technical experts.
* Support marketing by attending trade fairs, conferences, and events.
* Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product training.
* Participate in fairs and seminars to promote products or learn about industry developments.
* Stay informed on industry news, trends, products, competitors, and technologies.
* Support the sales team with technical expertise on specific product lines or projects.
* Develop relationships with customers’ technical teams to promote and develop the product portfolio.
* Participate in training courses and seminars to update product knowledge.
* Anticipate and meet customer and supplier needs, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
* Prepare Technical WebSeminars for Customers.
* Ensure customer and supplier prospects influence corporate decisions and activities.
Profile
* Background in Chemistry, CTF, Cosmetic Sciences, Cosmetological Sciences, or Pharmacy.
* Knowledge of the cosmetic market and raw materials.
* Experience in distributing chemical, cosmetic, and specialized products.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to guide customers in product selection.
* Results-oriented.
* Operational autonomy with excellent planning and organizational skills.
* Entrepreneurial mindset.
* Ability to work with diverse teams.
* Motivated, curious, enthusiastic, open-minded, and able to work locally and internationally.
* Willingness to travel.
